Linda Barnby
Linda Barnby is the founder of The Gallery 32789 and its gallerist.
Her paintings exude optimism and joy. Color, shape and sometimes texture combine in abstract and expressionist works to inspire and uplift the viewer.
Linda left her law practice in 2019 and, serendipitously, began painting and exhibiting at art festivals in Florida which led to the opening of the gallery.
Linda lives in Winter Park with her husband and Schnoodle pup.
Artist’s Statement
For me, art is about expressing joie de vivre. I paint to express my happiness and sometimes to find it.
I enjoy mixing colors on the canvas, experimenting with shape and markings and utilizing a wide variety of tools to create something unique and a delight to the senses.
