Perks of Membership

Membership entitles Member Artists to:

  • Maintain an exhibition of the artist’s works on a constant and continual basis for a full year in our prominent Park Avenue art gallery with high visibility, and, upon renewal, for additional years;

  • Receive a much higher commission rate than is typical - 70% of the sale price;

  • Opportunities to meet collectors one-on-one in the gallery;

  • Print marketing in local publications;

  • Social media marketing;

  • Promotion of the artist’s works via monthly gallery receptions for collectors;

  • In person promotion via participation in monthly gallery events to socialize with collectors;

  • Promotion of the artist’s works to unique, curated groups of potential collectors via special, private events (typically 2 to 3 private events held per month);

  • Opportunity for artist to host private events for the artist’s own collectors;

  • Promotion in the gallery during many, varied events occurring monthly in downtown Winter Park including the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, the Autumn Art Festival, Christmas in the Park and many other community events;

  • Be showcased as a Featured Artist in the gallery with special promotional opportunities;

  • Opportunity to have images of artist’s works sent twice-monthly to the gallery’s curated list of collectors via the gallery email newsletters;

  • Exhibit new works in the gallery every 3 months;

  • Exhibit artist’s works on the gallery website including works both in the gallery and not in the gallery;

  • Paint live in the gallery;

Responsibilities of Membership

Each artist is expected to:

  • Staff the gallery a maximum of three 3.5 hour shifts per month or, if that is not possible, make other arrangements - currently the requirement is just two 3.5 hour shifts per month;

  • Participate in at least one committee to help run and manage the gallery (which constitutes a minimal commitment of time)

  • Attend and assist with a minimum of 2 of the gallery receptions per year which occur on the second Thursday of each month. (Artists are not expected to assist with any private events held in the gallery.)

  • Pay membership dues monthly of $250 per month.
