An egret taking flight . He is running over the water and leaves of a spring in Deleon Springs State park.
i was very fortunate to capture his image at the right place and time.
Looked like he was running over water as the spring was at least 2 feet deep.
I did a patient and accurate rendition which took a lot of time and I hope evokes the fleeting taking off gesture.
