Inspired by a visit to the Harkness Estate in Connecticut. The mansion, ‘Eolia’ named for the island home of the Greek god of winds, was built in 1906 and purchased by Edward and Mary Harkness in 1907. Rebekah Harkness lived in the home owned now by Taylor Swift located on Watch Hill, RI. Currently known as “Holiday House.”
