To me a stroll through the woods is exhilarating! There is so much going on. So much to take in. In this piece I really enjoyed interpreting the ever-changing movement of the trees with bold, exciting color. I feel like this painting represents the moodiness of a changing season. The hints of a summer sky remains but the dark depths of the ground and the bright colors of fall suggest that autumn is on the way.
