This painting was in inspired by a trip I took to St. Remy in the south of France. My interpretation of this charming little town simply had to reflect my love of the Impressionist masters whom I admire so much. Vincent Van Gogh spent time in the village and also in the asylum there which so greatly moved my heart and soul as I toured that hallowed place. It just doesn't get any better than that!
